Email Hosting

We can provide individual e-mail boxes for all of your staff based on your existing internet domain name or a new domain name that we can help secure for you.

Our Internet e-mail servers are fully POP3 and IMAP4 compliant. Standard e-mail programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape all work seamlessly with our services.

Plus, through our user-friendly, easy to use WebMail interface, your e-mail is accessible from anywhere in the world anytime of the day. All you need is an internet connection and you have access to your e-mail.

We also have a full featured Virus Filtering and Spam Reduction Service available for clients whose e-mail domain we host and for those who have their own e-mail domains.

Our systems also greatly reduce the amount of spam and junk e-mail entering your company's network. Our proprietary, multi-stage methodology for screening each e-mail that flows through our system helps to reduce junk mail, and remove viruses, and harmful content in e-mails.

How it Works

Messages identified as containing viruses are cleaned by our AntiVirus software and then forwarded. If the message cannot be cleaned, the infected attachment is deleted and you are notified. Messages identified as possible spam are delivered to your Junk E-Mail folder. You can then run rules in WebMail client to allow any messages to come through that our system incorrectly flagged as SPAM. While not all spam can be filtered we can greatly reduce the amount of junk mail you receive. Our spam and virus filter rules are updated often, sometimes many times a day, to keep current with spammer's tactics and the latest viruses. You can also maintain a 'White List' of allowable e-mail addresses to ensure that mail from these addresses is not subjected to the spam filters. You can update the White List at any time through the WebMail client.  All this standard when we host your email.  When you have your own email server, the cost of the service is $20 per month.

Eligibility

You must have your own e-mail domain (example: yourcompany.com) and either have access to your domain's DNS records or have access to have your domain's hosting provider to have them make the changes for you. We can help you get this done and even help you obtain your own domain if necessary. Changes are made to your e-mail domain's DNS records (MX record) that redirect all of your domain's e-mail to our servers. Our servers process the mail and then forward them on to your mail servers.

Notes: Encrypted and password protected messages cannot be processed by our systems and are passed on unprocessed. This service does not replace the need for you to have and maintain desktop AntiVirus software. Occasionally a legitimate message is deleted due to similar content to spam. Usually the sender is notified but due to some sender's mail systems not all senders receive all notifications.
